About MaxRepTracker

MaxRepTracker is a strength training tracker built around one idea: you log a single best set per exercise, and the app shows you whether you’re getting stronger. It estimates your 1RM — the heaviest weight you can lift once — maps it to a training zone, and measures your strength against science-based benchmarks. An AI coach reads your trends and tells you what to do next. No data-entry marathons, no notebooks full of numbers. One set in, answers out.

Who it’s for

MaxRepTracker is for anyone who wants to get stronger — not for professional athletes chasing competition numbers. If you’ve never followed a routine, don’t know what matters, or have started and quit before, this app is for you. It gets you off the couch and gives you a hard, clear goal to chase.

Learn what works for you

There are hundreds of training programs, and everyone with experience swears by a different approach — often all of them work, for them. The problem is, you can’t know what works for you without data.

MaxRepTracker solves that. Follow whatever routine you like, log your best set, and the charts show your strength trajectory over time. Try a program, watch the line move. If it climbs, you’ve found what works for your body. If it stalls, you’ve learned that too — and you adjust. Instead of endlessly copying people at a completely different level, you learn from your own numbers what actually works for you.

A mirror first, a coach when you need one

MaxRepTracker isn’t about telling you how to eat, sleep, or train. It’s a mirror: log your best set, and the charts show you what your diet, your sleep, and your training are actually doing. I barely use the AI features myself — the mirror is usually enough. But they’re there for when you want more direction: a beginner who doesn’t know their next move, a lifter stuck on a plateau. Sometimes an honest second opinion is all you need.

The MaxRepTracker Way

We built this app on one belief: you don’t need more data, you need better feedback.

  • Log the truth. Record your best set — same tempo, clean technique, full reps only. That one number is all we need.
  • See yourself. Your numbers over time tell you whether you’re progressing, regressing, or plateauing. That’s a compass, not a report card.
  • Beat yesterday. One more rep in range, or a little more weight near the edge. Small, sustainable progress beats heroics — the record you beat today becomes the one you chase next time.
  • Recovery is training. You get stronger between sessions, not during them. Full rest between hard sets isn’t laziness; it’s how power is built.
  • Play the long game. Train for a long, healthy life, not a single headline number. Smart minimums, repeated consistently, outlast bursts of heroism.

Why one set is enough

Most trackers ask you to log every set, every rep, every rest minute. That turns training into paperwork. We trim the input to the one set that matters — your best — and let the calculations and the AI handle the rest. You spend gym time training, not typing.

Behind MaxRepTracker

I built MaxRepTracker with both sides of me: the athlete and the developer. Over 25 years of training — mixed martial arts, strength, and bodybuilding — taught me what matters in the gym. Eight years of game development taught me how to build it.

This isn’t an app written by a developer who never lifts. I use it every week, and the “one best set” rule came from my own sessions, not a whiteboard.

Visible results come last. It takes months before the mirror shows anything, and that’s exactly where most people quit. But your strength changes first. The bar goes up long before the mirror does. MaxRepTracker shows you that early win — your trajectory, your numbers climbing — so you keep going long enough to see the visual change too.

Strength matters beyond the gym. It’s the base for confidence and longevity — the reserve you draw on during a stressful week, a hard decision, or a fight-or-flight moment. That’s why I like to pair strength work with combat-style conditioning. Strength to handle the heavy stuff, conditioning to be ready for it. MaxRepTracker helps you build both and watch them grow.
